Claudio announces that he noticed Hero before the war, but he was busy with war stuff. Fortunately, the night watchmen overhear Borachio bragging about his crime. Overall, he falls in love with Hero quickly. Scene 2: It is the night before the wedding and Don John prepares to execute his plan.
One story follows the formal, romantic relationship between Leonato's daughter, Hero a young womanand Claudio a young officer : Claudio realizes, after returning from war, that he is deeply in love with Hero and wants to ask her father for permission to marry her.
The joyful lovers all have a merry dance before they celebrate their double wedding. Most good stories start with a fundamental list of ingredients: the initial situation, conflict, complication, climax, suspense, denouement, and conclusion.
Leonato gives permission for his daughter to marry Claudio in seven days time. Scene 3: Meanwhile, Don Pedro tricks Benedick into thinking that Beatrice is head-over-heels in love with him, but dare not admit it in case Benedick mocks her.
We may be kind of rooting for them to get together eventually, but their love is complicated by the possibility that it might make them boring and typical, thus robbing them of all the qualities that made them fall in love with each other in the first place.
High drama, all over the place. As far as Beatrice and Benedick go, this same scene is a climax in their relationship too.
All of this turmoil has put pressure on Benedick to reveal his love, especially because of how upset Beatrice is. He says that he will forgive Claudio if he marries his cousin the following day.
